Polonaise Ball

Alexandra Ballet will be part of the Polish American Cultural Society’s annual gala ball. Proceeds from this event benefit the Polish American Cultural Society’s Arts and Education Foundation and the Stan Musial Scholarship Fund. As part of the evening’s entertainment, Alexandra Ballet company members, Ashley Zhou and Becky Tan, will play the Swan from Carnival of the Animals by Saint Saen, which was made famous by Anna Pavlova. Company dancer Elizabeth Ceradsky will dance the role of the swan.

Alexandra Ballet presents their annual production of The Nutcracker at the Purser Center on the campus of Logan College. Perfect for all ages, this one hour ballet, narrated by Elizabeth Reichert, was created especially for families. Make this charming production the beginning of a great holiday tradition! The 17th Annual St. Louis Dance Festival

The Festival is presented by Dances of India and provides an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the thriving and diverse dance presence in metropolitan St. Louis– all in one weekend. Various dance companies will share the stage at Edison Theatre, each presenting a particular piece that is illustrative of that group’s artistic approach to dance – and a few of the groups have created new works just for this occasion.

Tickets $25 at the door, $20 in advance.
