Sergey Kozadayev and his wife, Zhanna
Dubrovskaya, Artistic Directors of Salt Creek Ballet since 1998, were born in St. Petersburg, Russia and trained
at the Vaganova Ballet Academy.
Sergey Kozadayev danced with the St. Petersburg
State Ballet as a principal dancer for 22 years. He received the Merit of Honor of the Russian Republic signifying his
reputation for the highest level of dance training and performance and was featured in a biographical documentary for Russian
TV. In 1991, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory in Choreography and Dance and holds a degree from the University
of Culture and Art in St. Petersburg. He has choreographed and danced in over 15 countries.
Zhanna Dubrovskaya danced with the Yacobson
Company and as a soloist with the St. Petersburg State Ballet. She graduated from the St. Petersburg teacher's course in 1988
and began her teaching career preparing many dancers for professional companies and competitions. In 1991, she and her husband
were invited by the Colorado Ballet to become ballet mistress, ballet master, and choreographers for the company.

Salt Creek Ballet was founded over 20 years ago
by Patricia Sigurdson, former dancer for American Ballet Theatre and Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Over the years, it
has become one of the most respected dance academies in the United States. The school and performance company have continued
to grow under the direction of Sergey Kozadayev and Zhanna Dubrovskaya. Salt Creek Ballet presents an annual production
of The Nutcracker as well as a major spring production.
This spring, Salt Creek Ballet performed the timeless romantic classic
Giselle.
Salt Creek Ballet's prestigious alumni have become members of The
Royal Ballet, Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Washington Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance
Chicago and Joffrey Ballet.
Salt Creek Ballet has a performance company, a dance academy, a
summer intensive program and community outreach programs.
